The hotel was built in 1989 and has been fully renovated in winter 2010/11. There are 340 rooms and the hotel offers guests a pleasant lobby with a 24-hour reception as well as a lift, a currency exchange desk and a newspaper stand. There is also a choice of bars, a supermarket, a hairdresser's salon, a TV room, restaurant and an à la carte restaurant (high season) and for younger guests a mini-club and playground.
The newly refurbished rooms are decorated in cooling, muted tones and come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, air conditioning, a balcony and a hire safebox. In addition to standard double rooms the hotel has a choice of family rooms and some have direct access to the outdoor pool.
The hotel has a half olympic sized outdoor pool and separate pool with waterslide as well as 2 childrens' pools. The spa centre has an indoor pool, sauna and hammam and offers treatments and massages for an additioanl fee. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy of water-skiing, jet skiing, surfing, windsurfing (only with a certificate) and canoeing (provided by private operator), the hotel has a tennis court, table tennis, basketball and bocce. The hotel also offers a seasonal entertainment programme to ensure that there is never a dull moment. (Some facilities may not be available year round due to weather/seasonal conditions).
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch or dinner from the buffet. A la carte is also available with a charge for drinks.
